Planting and Growing Instructions:

1. Scarification (Essential for Germination):

• Gently nick or file one end of each seed to expose the inner core.

• Be careful not to damage the inner seed—this step allows water absorption and is crucial for germination.

2. Soaking the Seeds:

• Place scarified seeds in a bowl of warm, clean water.

• Change water daily to prevent mold and bacterial growth.

• Seeds will swell and begin sprouting within 4–7 days.

3. Transplanting Sprouted Seeds:

• Once seedlings reach 4–6 inches, transfer them to a container filled with heavy clay loam or aquatic planting media.

• Gently press the sprouted seed into the soil with the root facing downward.

• Submerge the container under 2–4 inches of water, gradually increasing the water depth as the plant grows.

4. Ideal Growing Conditions:

• Requires full sun for optimal flowering (6–8 hours daily).

• Ideal temperature: 75–85°F (24–29°C)

• Suitable for USDA zones 4–10 if grown in deep water or overwintered indoors.

5. Maintenance and Flowering:
