• The Bikini Hen Holster: A lighter, "bikini bottom" diaper that sits comfortably below the tail. This style features two adjustable straps and leaves the oil gland uncovered, making it perfect for chickens who preen frequently. Note: The Bikini style is not suitable for ducks or geese and is less forgiving of sizing issues.

Tips for a Perfect Fit & Success

• Looks Small? Try it on! Many owners think the holster looks too small when they first take it out of the package. The design is meant to be snug to prevent leaks. Please try it on your bird before assuming it is the wrong size!
• First Time User? Choose Wrap-Around! If you are new to chicken diapers or unsure of your bird's size, we highly recommend the Wrap-Around style. It is much more adjustable and forgiving than the Bikini style. The Bikini style requires a precise fit to work correctly; if it's slightly too big, it will slip.
• Secure Fastening: For fluffy birds, ensure you smooth the feathers down where the straps sit to get the most secure Velcro grip.

The Wrap-Around Hen Holster diaper wraps around your bird's tail and offers the ultimate in adjustability over your bird's vent. This style covers the oil gland and is suitable for ducks, geese and active chickens. The wrap around diaper is much more adjustable than the bikini diaper and is more forgiving of sizing issues.

The Bikini Hen Holster diaper is a lighter 'bikini bottom' diaper that sits below your bird's tail. This style has two adjustable straps and does not cover the bird's oil gland. 💡 Tips for Success (From Happy Customers)

🧻 Paper Towel Trick: For easiest cleanup, use one of our washable reusable absorbent inserts or fold a standard paper towel and place it inside the vinyl liner pocket. Simply "toss and replace" the waste without scrubbing the liner!

⏱️ Give it Time: Most chickens freeze or walk backwards when they first wear a diaper. This is normal! Give them 15–30 minutes with treats to adjust.

📏 Measure the Back: Fit issues are the #1 reason for returns. Measure from base of neck to base of tail. Size up for fluffier breeds! For short-backed breeds, you can twist the bikini straps or fasten them crosswise.
